I know this isn't a big deal for you "baby wearing" Mommys out there, but this is really a big deal for me! I'm loving wearing Patrick! He's so much more well behaved when he is "on" me : )
After trying many different baby wearing devices, including the Snuggly, Ergo, Moby, Peanut Shell etc. with all my other babies, I have found the one that is the best fit for me. My Baby Bjorn!...actually a friend with 7 kids loaned it to me so it's not really mine, but I love it. It's about 10 years old too, so it's vintage! I guess I was more desperate this time around, because I have two that aren't walking. Just took my 10th baby to figure out how to "wear" a baby so me and baby are both happy : )
Recently, at my son and daughter's track meet, I wore Patrick and he was content for a good 2 hours before I needed to feed him. We go on walks with it too, sometime with Mattie in the stroller as well. I can even cook wearing him, but I have to be careful. Now I finally get what all the "hoopla" is over the Bjorn! Doesn't he look cute all snuggled in there and me bossing someone around at the same time. My husband was taking candid shots of us : )
Hello~
ReplyDeleteCame across your blog & sweet family!

I am thankful!
You have a beautiful family.
Blessings~

I never 'wore' any of my other children- just carried them. I have a 5 wk old and twins under 2, so I've started wearing him in something similar to a bjorn as well. Oh my gosh, what a difference! I cook with him 'on' me as well and find it most difficult when opening the oven!!! You look great in those pictures, btw!
ReplyDeleteyou look like cameron diaz! and you look amazing for someone who has had 10 kids!!!
ReplyDeleteCame across your blog recently. I've enjoyed reading back.
ReplyDeleteI wore my 2nd all the time when he was a newborn. He was always so content in there and I could still get things done.
Yes, darling, I visited your blog just cause I wanted to see your beautiful face and admire you again while traveling....xoxox see you tomorrow! Hubby
ReplyDeleteI hope this doesn't sound creepy or stalkerish, but you're gorgeous! I can't get over her fabulous you look. So then I think, gee, I really must take more time for myself. Because if you have 10 kids and look that great, and I have 3 kids and look BLAH, then clearly I"m doing something wrong! :) What an inspiration you are!
ReplyDeleteHe sure looks totally comfortable (and so do you).
ReplyDeleteI want one! You look great!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the bjorn as well. I do like the moby for some longer walks, especially when it is cold or windy out but I find that I use the bjorn more because it is so much easier to get on and off! You look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so cozy! Love it! I have not quite figured out how to wear my babies comfortably yet. Maybe by the time I have a tenth? LOL
ReplyDeleteI've never seen someone look so Glamorous wearing a baby!!!! GREAT pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the sweet comments. I must admit that I don't feel very glamorous right now : )
